Accounting and Financing

Accounting and Financing is currently the bane of my existence!  I'm working on my Master in Health Services Management and so far the ride has been pretty easy.  That is until my last class started.  Accounting and Financing for Management is 3 weeks in and I'm barely hanging in there.  I don't understand a single thing that is going on and the 2 assignments due a week are 3-5 page papers.  Who has time for that!?  Not me, especially not right now.  I have much more important things in my life to tend to instead of a class that is so confusing and a teacher that isn't any help.  I'm not alone in my feelings, most of the class feels the same and is getting no help from the teacher as well.  Makes it discouraging when you can't get a response from your teacher.  5 more weeks to go and hopefully I can just pass the class and not have to worry about having to retake it!  Fingers crossed people!
This has been a long week and I can't express enough how glad I am that it is Friday.  I'm exhausted and the extra help of the hubby over the weekend will be incredibly welcomed.    Lexi started feeling sick out of the blue Monday evening and stopped eating and was a cranky crying mess.  Tuesday she was the same no appetite but acting relatively normal except for a little on the cranky side.  After her nap she was running a fever that went away with a little Tylenol.  Wednesday was a better day and by Thursday she had her enormous appetite back.  Today has been good.  They both napped for me so I could attempt my paper that is due tomorrow.  Very little got completed.  I did however get to clean out the selves in the fridge so that was a huge accomplishment. 
Lexi and I put together Oli's little jungle play ground and he loved it!  He laid there staring at the lights and little hanging things for longer then I expected him to.  We were also able to get his room picked up a little so that you can actually walk in without being attacked by all the stuff laying around on the floor.  Still have clothes to get put away and sorted out.  We need to get a set of dresser drawers in that room and things will be much better. 
This weekend is going to be busy and full of fun.  Lexi is so excited about Sam's birthday party tomorrow that every day she wakes up ready to go over to the Walter's and have some cake and bring Sam his present.  When I have to burst her bubble that it still isn't Saturday she gets very upset.  Needless to say, Jaclyn you better have some good cake!!  (just kidding)  Then on Sunday I get to use my last massage :(  This makes me happy and sad all at the same time.  My back is in some serious need (even though I went last Sunday) but since I had to cancel my membership I will no longer get my much needed monthly massages. 
Next week Emily is back and Lexi will be so excited to get to see her friends again, and I'm sure she will love having a break from mommy!   We truly hit the jack pot when we found Emily.  Lexi loves being over at her house and it is going to make my transition back to work away from Oli so much easier. 
Well duty is calling!  My sweet boy is waking up and it's been 4 hours since his last bottle so I'm sure my hungry man will be ravenous!  Until next time......
