2 months old

Today Oliver had his 2 month well check visit and it went very well.  Here are his latest stats
Weight- 13lbs 11 ounces (95percentile)
Height- 24 and 3/4 inches (90percentile)
Head is in the 50percentile

He did so great despite the long wait to get into the room and to see the doctor.  He got 3 shots in his chubby little thighs and an oral vaccine.  Poor boy was asleep and not wanting to wake up so he got a bit of a rude awakening.  He cried for a couple minutes and then was back to sleep like a champ.  Once we got home I even got to eat lunch at lunch time and have an hour to myself while both kiddos slept!  So far it has been a good day!!

We had a bit of a rough weekend with Oli.  My wonderful parents came down to stay with us while Lew took his fun trip to Vegas for March Madness and boy am I glad they were here.  Poor Oli was a ball of gas the whole time and it took all 3 of us to get him calmed down or to sleep.
Lexi had her first tiny tumblers class on Saturday and she had a blast!  There were 6 kids in the class and parents were not allowed in the room.  At first I didn't think she was going to make it.  Once she found out I was leaving she gave the pout and stare at the floor ready to cry.  I walked out and after about 5 minutes she was enjoying herself and learning new things.  She is a natural little athlete and I can't wait to see what else she is going to learn in this little class.

Today is the first day in about a week that Lexi has actually slept during her nap time!!  The clock is not working out so well anymore.  I'm hoping she will begin to understand that she needs to stay in the room until the clock turns yellow every time but I'm not holding my breath!

I'm anxious to see what the rest of today brings now that Oli is stirring in his crib.  Here's to hoping he doesn't have any reaction to the vaccines and Lexi wakes up happy and we continue with our good day!!
