My first blog!

Let the blogging begin!!

I have finally decided to start a blog, despite my horrible ability to structure and punctuate sentences properly.  So much is happening in the Izzo household these days that instead of posting and constantly updating facebook I will compile our comings and goings on this blog. 

As many know our world now revolves around an adorable almost 9 month old girl, Alexia.  Lexi has changed our lives in so many ways it is hard to imagine what we were even doing with our lives without her. 

After a rough start we are finally getting into the groove of things.  Our days are pretty routine and I like it that way.  With the help of great family and friends we have made it over halfway through this first year.  It is hard to believe that in 4 very short months my baby girl will be turning the ripe 'ol age of 1!!! Sometimes I look at her and wonder where the time has gone?! how in the world is she doing all that she does?! and last but not least, where the heck are her teeth?! 

That is the new thing, what day will I look into her little mouth and see those budding pearly whites?!  For those of you who have had the pleasure to meet Lexi you know of her amazing ability to drool!  She has been an incredible drooler since about 5 months and it has only gotten worse and not only does she put everything in her mouth, but she JAMS everything into her poor little gums.  People say be careful what you wish for, but I say bring on the teeth!! 

Well it is time to bring this first blog in for a close as I look into the monitor and see her crawling around her crib.  I am excited to start sharing more of our life with those who are interested in reading about it!
